How do I sign up?

To sign up with Luminent, you simply complete the online registration.There is no cost or obligation for registering, however, there will be a $25 start up fee charged to you before you go live. Luminent will verify your license and insurance policy information and will:

Issue you an ID and password

Provide detailed instructions for using the service

Provide contact information so you can always get the help you need when you need it

How does a counseling session work?

Before you can conduct a counseling session, you must set your status to online by either calling our 800 number or by signing on via our website.

A client uses Luminent’s website to register, pay for sessions, and browse counselors.
The client identifies a counselor to talk with and either calls a 1-800 number or connects through the web site to the counselor.
Luminent calls the client, then the counselor, and connects them.
The counselor-directed session takes place over the telephone.
The session ends when either party hangs up or the member's account is depleted. Note: The system plays a message when the client’s funds are low.
The system calculates the total fee based on the cost per minute and the length of the call.
The session’s cost is deducted from the client’s account. Your fee is credited to your account.

Pricing

During the sign up process the Counselor sets the Counseling Rate. You can change your rate at any time. Luminent Solutions will collect a fixed $0.40 per minute technology services fee for the ability to do OnDemand Phone Therapy and a 25% marketing fee. No other fees are charged.
