This distinctly personalized psychotherapeutic experience, focusing on individuals, couples and families, is based on Michael’s clinical background, spanning more than 25 years. The approach supports personal Integral Transformation by incorporating time-honored aspects of both Analytical and Archetypal Psychology, as well as the more concrete and accessible methods of Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Various other complementary disciplines are also explored.
Michael’s highly individualized and personally tailored approach to psychotherapy integrates the many facets of personal transformation that encourage the evolution of the whole person. Clients will come to an understanding of their initial concerns, while also learning to develop consistent skills and strategies supporting their continued personal growth.
In addition to his private practice and pro bono work, Michael’s professional experience includes faculty positions at a number of colleges and universities, program consultation to school districts in both Connecticut and New York, and advisory positions with the American Psychological Association, the National Science Foundation, and the Smithsonian.
